About the Opaline Index
A living field guide for the human futures we are making.

The Opaline Index is a growing public directory of hand-curated publications, websites, blogs, newsletters, podcasts, YouTube channels, and other resources worth discovering. It maps work across memory and aging, AI, consciousness, mental health, ethics, culture, creativity, geology, spirituality, writing, and the many crossings between them.
Community Members can recommend resources and submit their own publication or project for consideration.
This feature is still in beta mode, and publications are added regularly. Calls for pitches, guest appearances, and other collaborations are also being sourced in the Community.

The Hub follows ideas that rarely stay in one lane—questions about memory and technology, creativity and consciousness, science and story, human experience and the systems that shape it. Rather than treating these as separate subjects, the collection looks for the places where they intersect: how new technologies change the way we live and work, how science becomes public knowledge, how power and institutions shape our choices, and how culture, belief, language, and storytelling influence what we make of it all.
It’s an evolving collection, and its territory will continue to grow as new questions, connections, and fields emerge.
