Unsung Odes is my first novel—and, in many ways, the beginning of The Opaline Outpost. Writing a book has been a lifelong dream.

I have spent more than 20 years working as a writer in strategic communications, helping ideas find their shape, voice, and audience.

This novel is my first attempt to build a world entirely from my own questions.

As I began researching its setting, technology, characters, and central mysteries, the work kept expanding beyond the manuscript. One question led to another: memory and identity; artificial intelligence and care; aging, inheritance, storytelling, lost histories, and the things people preserve when everything else changes. Those research trails became The Opaline Outpost: a place to gather resources, ideas, and people exploring the same strange, human questions.
